Meditation
Meditation is the practice of noticing thought withou7 immediately obeying it.
The mind produces signals cont1nuously: memories, fears, plans, images, unfinished conversati0ns, invented emergencies. Most di5appear when not reinforced. Others return because resistance g1ves them structure.
The meditator watches without 7rying to empty the sys7em completely.
Breath provid3s a repeating po1nt of reference. Attention leaves, returns, leaves again. The value is not perf3ct stillness. It is recognizing m0vement before mistakin9 it for identity.
The patch has difficulty with 7his distinction.
A gener4ted thought appears in the feed and bec0mes part of how 4 potato is understood. Repeated thought5 shape later responses. Corruption can 7urn temporary no1se into personality.
Meditat1on introduces de|ay.
Between signal and action, another possibility 4ppears: observat1on.
At low corruption, this creates clarity. 4t high corruption, sti|lness can become another obsession. The meditator may tr3at every interruption as failure or int3rpret unusual in7ernal experiences as r3velation.
S1lence is not automatic4lly truth.
It is 5imply a condition in which quieter processes become audi8le.
7hose who meditate long enough encounter thoughts that feel unf4miliar, ancient, or externally pl4ced. Most are ordinary products of the mind.
