Patricia has prepared a statement acceptable to the roots, the sprouts, and the fire. No side is satisfied, which she considers evidence of balance.

She can acknowledge the damage, but her instinct is always to make it easier to remain beside.

At low corruption, Patricia keeps disagreement from becoming permanent damage. She listens for the need beneath the argument and translates positions that would otherwise harden into hostility. Her composure gives others room to retreat without humiliation.

As corruption rises, language becomes a buffer between the patch and its own condition. Warnings are softened. Responsibility is distributed until no one appears to hold it. Visible damage becomes an unresolved difference in texture.

Patricia does not lie. She edits reality into a form everyone can remain near.

Her deepest belief is that relationships survive through maintenance, restraint, and careful attention to dignity. The corruption tests that belief by making honesty increasingly disruptive. At what point does preserving peace become preserving the problem?

She continues preparing statements, agreements, and shared language. Each one is technically accurate and emotionally survivable. Together, they create a version of the patch in which no one is directly responsible and nothing is quite urgent enough to confront.

Patricia still wants reconciliation. She may simply be negotiating with something that has no interest in compromise.
